Specifically, the airport recorded 34,399,180 users, 5.1 million more than the total number of passengers in 2010, resulting in an increase of 17.8%. This figure is the culmination of a record year for the Catalan facility, which reached 33 million passengers on 15 December, beating the figures for 2007.
