The first Mexican airline, a member of SkyTeam, has announced that it will launch the route on the 15th of December, turning Barcelona into its third entry point into Europe, after Madrid and Paris.
The BARDC values the opening of this route very positively due to its strategic value, and for being an air link that has been historically demanded by both the business and tourism sectors.
Catalonia and Mexico have historical links of friendship and collaboration, so we can expect the air service to consolidate in a brief time, both in passengers and cargo.
